ALL ABOARD!! THE POLAR EXPRESS!! Pre-K had so much fun on the Polar Express on Friday! After receiving a phone call from Santa calling off their trip due to some snowy weather in the North Pole, they promised him they would try their best to keep smiling and have fun anyway! After chugging along with their train whistles, and having their ticket punched, they boarded the train and enjoyed hot cocoa with chocolates! Afterwards, Santa sent them a special package from the North Pole, Silver Bells! The bells were extra chilly to touch from coming straight from the North Pole!

Smithton School's Student Council Club would like to thank the Smithton Community for their generous donations at both 8th Grade Nights for Basketball/Cheerleading. The club was able to make a sizable donation to Smithton's Food Pantry. We hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season!

On Wednesday Ms. Nichols’ Pre-K class had quite the excitement! Their gingerbread cookie that was brought in for snack escaped, and led the class on a wild chase through the room following clues! After they found their surprise book, gingerbread stuffy and fresh cookies to eat, they made gingerbread houses of their own! They ran, ran, as fast as they could! They didn’t catch him, but the cookies were good! ❤️💚

Some of Mrs. Barshak's 1st Grade friends only have one (okay, two) wish for Christmas...can you guess what it is??

Last week our 1st Graders made their amazing Gingerbread houses!

Last Week in STEM...2nd grade learned about motion with Hot Wheels and foam tracks and 8th grade programmed with DASH robots.
