The Freeburg Youth Trap Club competed at the World Shooting Complex in Sparta October 18 & 19. The Jr. High squad brought home the trophy for 1st place in their division. Pictured are Wyatt Fulkerson, Ian Lindauer, Jase Bruehl, Tony Stark, and Colby Stroder. If any Smithton student is interested in joining the team, please contact Justin Bruehl at 618-410-9496.

Art Club's Snacks and Splatters fundraiser is coming up! 3rd-8th graders will paint on November 18 and PreK-2nd graders will paint on November 20. Each group will stay after school until 4 p.m. to have snacks and drinks while they paint. Teachers sent the sign-up sheets out this week. If you didn't receive the sheet, you can access it on our virtual backpack. We'll be painting a turkey for Thanksgiving! This event is so much fun for students. We hope you can join us!

Hey Smithton Families!
The Booster Club is excited to introduce Theme Nights at select boys’ and girls’ home basketball games to bring a little extra energy and school spirit to the stands!
Each Theme Night has a different look or vibe, from simple color themes to fun dress-up ideas - all meant to celebrate Cougar pride and create a positive, exciting game-day atmosphere.
We’ll also be rewarding great Cougar spirit with Booster Bucks - a special coupon redeemable for one free concession stand item. Students who go above and beyond cheering on our teams, showing good sportsmanship, or being good stewards of the fan behavior just might earn one!
We didn’t schedule Theme Nights for every home game, but we picked a handful of fun ones throughout the season, so check out the graphic attached for the schedule, dress for the theme, and have your students bring their Cougar pride!
We can’t wait to see our students pack the stands, have fun, and show off that Cougar spirit all season long.
