The Smithton School Student of the Month for January 2024 is Charlie Oliver. Charlie was chosen for this award by the faculty and administration of the school. The award was presented to Charlie for displaying a good work ethic, outstanding character, and good behavior. Charlie also shows respect, leadership, willingness to help his peers, and kindness to others. Charlie will receive a plaque and a gift card from the school.
Charlie is the son of Amber Shields and Chris Oliver. He enjoys playing the saxophone, chess and video games. Charlie also is a member of the Scholar Bowl Team.
He plans to go college and be in the band. He might be a lawyer, but is not completely sure.
