This week in STEM... Kindergarten cut up vegetables, 2nd grade observed worms & 8th grade worked with snap circuits.

Join the Smithton School Art and Music Departments in our Fine Arts Night on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. There will be an art walk, interactive activities, and live music scheduled from 5:00-7:00pm and will culminate with the final band and chorus concert of the school year at 7:30pm in the gymnasium. Come celebrate the hard work of our fine arts students!

Mr. Sehr's 5th graders participated in an Earth Day scavenger hunt! Along the way, students picked up 721 pieces of trash and disposed of it in an appropriate manner! #EarthDay

Today in Science, Mr. Sehr's 5th graders practiced the engineering process while making a free standing note card tower! Students learned how to navigate through various criteria and constraints, including a 30 minute time limit, to construct the tallest tower as possible! #STEM #ScienceRules #5thGrade
